Belait District
INTRODUCTION
TCPD KB branch started its operation on 5th January 1987. This is due to
the increasing number of development applications and the need to closely
monitor the development of Belait District. One Planner was allocated, and
since March 1997 he has been assigned as full-time officer in charge of
planning matters in Belait District. At present there are altogether 10
staffs in KB branch.
TASKS
Apart from processing and issuing approval for development applications
within Development Control Areas, this branch also provide comments for
the development Outside Development Control Areas and within Municipal
Board. The Officer in charge has also been appointed as representative to
the Commissioner of Town Planning Department for various committees :
