Word from the Commissioner
The Town and
Country Planning Department website is an opportunity that enable us to disseminate
information and inform the general public on the functions, tasks and services carried out
and provided by the department in line with our aim to continuously improve our service
especially in matters related to physical planning and development. TCP
website will
provide a brief overview on matters related to the process and procedures on development
applications, which we hope, will contribute to the enhancement of public knowledge on our
department.
The establishment of this website is an initial step to equipping ourselves towards the
next millenium, which we anticipate will be more challenging. The rapid technological
advancement has influenced us in the way we do our work and hope that this
website will give us the chance to share data and information on a much wider scale.
I hope that this website will be beneficial to the general public.
We
will continue to deliver our best service possible for the benefit of the nation and the
whole populace.
